The main official part and mass celebrations, of course, will be held in the city center, on Dumska Square. The concert with the invited stars will last all night long, fireworks will be launched, mulled wine and coffee will be poured, and new-year miracles will happen everywhere.

- On December 31 at 16-00 National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Odesa will host a theatrical performance “The Nutcracker”. This is an old-fashioned fairy ballet in 2 acts with a prologue based on the fairy tale by Hoffman. The libretto of Marius Petipa is presented in the version of Volodymyr Troshchenko.
- On December 25, the Theatre of Musical Comedy will host another classical production “The Night before Christmas”. This is a folk legend about the fabulous love of Vakula and Oksana accompanied by Igor Poklad.
- On December 28-29 in the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine” there will be held Christmas concert of Lords of the Sound orchestra named Grand Christmas. It is entirely dedicated to the atmosphere of love and warmth. The orchestra and choir are accompanied by the finalists of the vocal talent shows of Ukraine. Volyn folk choir and a quartet Tenors Bel`Canto are among the guests invited to the concert.
- In the morning on December 31, children will have a bright and colorful New Year’s show in Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after V.Vasylenko. This is a children’s new-year musical “The Magic Five Pence” with sweet gifts, courtly love and palace intrigues.
- At the same time another family new-year tale will be performed in the Theater of Musical Comedy. Favorite characters of “The Cold Heart” are out of the picture and come to life here.
Also there are always local “Christmas Trees”. Most restaurants, cafes and public places offer their programs. For a little money you can not worry about the holiday leisure and dinner, and just have fun in beautiful outfits for fun.
